Reading all the success stories on here from real people has really motivated me to get up from here and do this. If all ya'll can lose this much weight, I think I can do it too. Going to start counting calories and going right now to walk. Thank you all for inspiring me to do better.
Your first step is certainly a mini-goal worth celebrating! How did day one go? I have an idea as your next mini-goal. I'd like to challenge you to post at least once a day for the next 30 days. Keep coming back for support and to support others, whether you are perfectly on plan, or struggle occasionally. 30 posts in 30 days. What do you think?
Thank you all for the inspiration and the motivation. And I accept your challenge Lori Bell. Thank you very much, that may be just what I need. You have done outstanding. You have to be very proud of yourself.
It seems like I am always hungry since I stopped smoking. But I do not want to start back. I think I have replaced smoking with snacking. I definitely can use any and all advice you can give. Thanks so much.
3 months ago I think I started at 2.6 for 15 minutes, with no incline. Then I worked up to 3.0 and then added a little incline, and a little time, etc... And now I just did a 5k (3.1 miles) in 42:18 minutes! But it takes time and patience.
So don't worry about speed. Go at your own pace. It's ok to be slow. Because your distance and endurance will continue to improve every day.
Just keep coming back here and posting. Good luck on all your goals!
