Well, I'm 5'9 and when I was at 200lbs a few years ago, I could BARELY squeeze into a size 14 pant, but, at the same time, I still wore a 20 - 22 top because of my shoulders and the girls. So body shape can have a huge impact.

Yep! I am a bit muscular and have always carried my weight well. Mind you the size 12's were stretchy! I am a definite hourglass with not so small boobs but a tiny waist.

I'm an hourglass also which is why I've always had to go bigger on pants to get them to fit my hips but they always end up being loose in my waist and legs. Maybe it's just the type of pants .. who knows? Anyways grats on your weight loss!

Just wanted to say thanks to you all - this thread hit the spot today! I'm wearing new light gray cropped pants to work today that are just a tad snug (with a looser top of course) and I was feeling as big as a house since I'm now used to my pants being too loose. Of course, I always wore black on the bottom for the usual reasons. Anyway, seeing others struggling with similar issues made me feel much better and more determined to stick to plan. Thanks again...
