Weird comments about my weight loss

Just wondering how people deal with weird questions about their weight loss. At one of my jobs I work for a husband and wife team and lately the husband has been telling me I should stop dieting or I'll become anorexic (which couldn't be further from the truth - I love food too much for one thing). I have a feeling that their daughter, who is about my age, may have suffered from an eating disorder at one point, but I'm not sure. The wife also asks me how much I weigh everytime I see her (about twice a week). When I started my diet I was upfront with them, so maybe I should have just kept my mouth shut. I've found myself feeling uncomfortable around them and I'm starting to lie saying I'm not on the diet anymore and that I'm no longer losing weight. This is a frustrating situation!!:(

I think I would give a vague, non answer such as "I don't know I haven't stepped on the scale lately". Acrually it is none of their business.

I agree with bargoo's answer. It really is none of their business, regardless of how much you may have shared with them in the past.

I try and make it a point to not lie to anybody. Even if I have to tell someone something they may not like.

Your friends who keep asking you about your weight and diet I would just tell them matter of factly that I wish not to talk about it anymore and would they please not ask me about it. I would say it politely and with a smile.

If asked why I would tell them that I decided not to make diet and weight loss my focus of everything and I just want to not think about it.

Once you tell them this and if they ask you will always be able to counter with ... " I told you I would rather not discuss it."

Also like others have said ... it's none of their business.

Thank you for the advice. I think I will tell the bosses that I don't want to talk about my diet/weight loss anymore.
