I completed my I HEART 5k in 45 mins. I walked slowly for the first 10 mins to warm-up and get motivated. And then I ran the last 35 mins.

It felt really good to see that I can still run after so many months of slacking off! Makes me wonder why I ever stopped.

#69 checking in with bad news. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to complete my 5K. I'm having knee problems, so no running for the moment and I really need to give my knee a break, so I've decided to take today off from exercise--which means I can't even patch a 5K together on the elliptical. I did swim yesterday, but I'm a slow swimmer so the most I could get in before I ran out of time was 2.7 km (which took me an hour and 15 min).

I did probably run a 5K last Tuesday, but I was expecting to be able to run today (Sunday), so I didn't keep track. I'll be doing spin class and elliptical next Tuesday; between the two, that also probably gets me to a 5K, but the spin bikes don't track mileage, so there's no way to know for sure. I'll probably only do 1.5 miles on the elliptical.

But I'll be back for the next 3FC 5K. Even if I still can't run, if I have some time plan I'll be able to patch one together with swimming and the elliptical.

I did a 5k on Thursday by jogging around and around my living room, dining room and kitchen. I have only an estimate but I jogged for 1 hour and 10 minutes so I'm sure I got in a 5k. Then I biked 10k on my stationary bike. That took me 40 minutes. I was actually hoping to do it again today but life got in the way.

# 13 reporting.

I don't have very good news myself, for the last two or three weeks I had this unexplained pain in my left heel (I think it may have been caused by me starting to wear high [albeit comfortable] heels all of a sudden - the pain is on and off. Nevertheless, I ran 2 miles on Friday, did an hour of Zumba yesterday and ran 3.8 miles today on treadmill. In hindsight, it was not a good idea because it really aggravated the heel and I can barely put weight on my left foot. Grrrr. I was hoping to run tomorrow again as it is a holiday here although I work in the afternoon.
Well, I did what I could!

I don't remember my number... but I did make my BF do the 5K with me.

Unfortunately he is from Montana and coming to the south decided he only needed to bring flip-flops, so we walked except for a minute or so where he ran and then ended up making fun of me (not really on purpose) for not being able to keep up.
