Dear scale...
 

Dear Scale,

You made me think that I was losing weight, a lot of weight. You told me I was losing 2 pounds a week just with nursing my son. I believed you, even though my clothes weren't fitting any better and I wasn't losing any inches. I wanted to believe that I was back at my prepregnancy weight at only 2 months postpartum, and you fed that dream.

Well, your time is up! I have a new scale now, one that isn't afraid to tell me the harsh truth that I still have 14 pounds to go to get to my prepregnancy weight. It weighs me correctly the first time, every time, unlike you who could never make up your mind.

We are through. No more of your games! You have wasted enough of my time.

Each scale is different, we had this conversation here before - and most said always weigh on the SAME scale!

Okay then. 14lbs it is. But really, 2 months post partum? And only 14 lbs away from your prepregnancy weight? - that''s really pretty darn fabulous!!!!

You'll have that new and improved (accurate) scale giving you TRUE and prepregnancy numbers before you know it. :)

Horsey - True, the only difference being that my old scale was broken so I had to get another. :)
