I know some of yall will think I am nuts for getting stoked only 4 days into my diet but I can't help it for the first time in a long time I feel like I have hope!
one of my favourite things I found here was the concept of the mini-goal. My hoped for 47 pounds just seems way too much to do. I "knew" I could not accomplish this, and be patient enough to get there.
But, I could manage to lose 8 pounds and get under 180.
Now, I can lose another six and get back to 173. (where I was before giving birth the second time)
I don't know what the next mini-goal will be for me after that, but they seem do-able. I have not yet set time limits for my goals, but now that I am exercising more, the thought that I may reach each one within a month or so is kind of exciting. I mean, you can do just about anything for a month right?

SO my advice is set a small goal for the end of January for yourself. Something you can realistically do. Maybe you will be successful sooner than you plan, but you will feel jazzed by the success.
Good luck, you are doing great!

congrats keep up the great work. Just a forwarning..you may stall at some point..if you find that and you are working out hard..you may want to try to up your calories...i know that sounds weird...but given your current weight, you may stall with such low calories you are eating. I'm 170ish right now and loosing weight at a 1700 calorie diet. But keep up the awesome work. just don't get frustrated with stalls...it will always happen despite our good work.
