What tricks does PMS play on you?
I've got PMS raging, and it's doing funny things to me. Yesterday I was craving a dark chocolate brownie-type cake with raspberries. Right now I'm dreaming of the deep-fried burritos over at the WalMart grocery store. I won't be giving in, but it's kind of funny to see the tricks and games that PMS is playing on me. So I'm curious...what does it do to YOU??

Good for you for not giving in!
It makes me want to eat everything that isn't nailed down....especially mozzarella sticks and chocolate. Luckily, I don't give in (anymore) either!

Considering I've been crazy PMS person for the last couple days, I have very up-to-date knowledge of what it does to me... The strongest being a desire to eat non-stop, and also craving meat at night.
The meat craze is a new one! it just kind of makes me laugh (now). I would make a very sucky vegetarian.

I think I'm really lucky in that other than a mild salt craving, PMS doesn't make me go food crazy.
What it does is make me incredibly WEEPY. I will sob at the drop of a hat about 2 days prior to the start of my period. Look at me cross eyed and I'll cry. Make me watch a Hallmark commercial on TV and I'll cry. See a kitten in the pet store window and I'll cry.
It's damned annoying really. I'd rather crave food!

I agree with the wanting to eat nonstop. I also usually want pasta with lots and lots of cheese and garlic. And doritos with cream cheese.

I crave sweets big time..but especially muffins, for some reason! I've started really craving them for the past few days, so I know I'm PMS-ing now! Hope to get it over with soon!

I have an irregular period so I don't always know when it's comming. I'll get INSANE cravings from out of the blue, to the point that I'm like an addict sitting in my apt shaking thinking about running out to the store to get some junk food. When my period does come it's a relief, because it means the cravings were hormonal, not cuz I'm a pig.
The odd thing is that If I give in a little, but don't go too crazy the scale usually is pretty friendly when TOM is over.

Aside from being a queen b****, i crave rich, chocolately things. And it makes my scale play dirty, dirty tricks on me.

This month has been odd for me - normally I retain water, get really tired and irritable, and crave candy candy candy... and chicken wings... and mexican food... and so on... I'm on Seasonale, so I only have it every three months, so it has been a while, but I remember the cravings and the fussiness well.
This time has been just like a normal week. I actually weigh almost a pound less today than last Friday, have been in a great mood and only had one minor headache, haven't craved anything and I'm three days into it. I'm waiting to see if tonight and tomorrow will beat me in the head...

Oh yeah, I get the weepies too - BIG TIME. One time, I was getting ready to go to work and Oprah was on and she was doing reunions with people who haven't seen their loved ones for years. I cried so hard I thought I would burst a blood vessel!

This is fun!
Apparently I'm blessed with the trifecta of pms. I get the weepies AND the constant feeling of hunger/desire to eat AND the cravings.
I'm such a joy to be around.
