Default I can't believe this works! (My 100th post)

OK, this is going to sound really stupid, but...

I can't believe this works!

By "this," I mean eating well and exercising. I've lost 11 lbs. since the second week of June. I don't feel deprived. In fact, I feel great!

I was at belly dance class this afternoon and SAW the difference for the first time. I can't stand far enough away from the mirror in my tiny basement studio to see my entire body, head to toe, but there's a great mirror in the dance studio, and I saw myself in it, and I looked GOOD. Better than I have in a long time.

My first thought was, "I can't believe it's working," which is so dumb! OF COURSE it works. It's the calories, stupid. This is how people lose weight. I've just never done it in a way that felt good before.

Silly me.

I know exactly what you mean! Seventy-five pounds lost, and I'm still surprised when I get on the scale and see a loss. It's just so easy, compared to every diet I've been on in my life.

You are doing great. It always shocks me how easy I can lose weight when I stick to my program -- a little exercise, a little conscious effort and boom -- the weight just goes I have my days but even without the weight loss, I feel so much better when I eat right and exercise -- I wish I had listened to "everyone" sooner!!

Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint.

Yeah, Jaclyn!

I am always amazed that it really works too. That is why the goal section of 3FC has always been so important to me. Weight loss can seem overwhelming and impossible, and it still blows my mind that changing behaviors changes our bodies.

I am so happy for you!
