As far as the eating goes, well I found tracking my calories very useful. That was a start. It helps me to keep my portions at bay. Fitday.com is very helpful in that aspect. By wanting to get the most food/nutrients and fullness for my caloire allotment, I chose/choose foods with low calories. Lots and lots and LOTS of veggies, some fruits and low fat proteins - such as egg white omlettes, chicken and turkey breast, tuna fish and salmon and talipia, fat free yogurt and some veggie burger type products.
