Red face Hello again!

It's a little intimidating and humbling to return to this board, as I was a member here a couple of years ago, when I lost nearly 40 pounds. Sadly, I gained back most (but not all) of it. Seeing how so many of you have stuck with it all this time, and how you're so close to reaching your goals, is incredibly inspiring, and you have all of my respect for being strong when I decided to quit. When I think about where I could have been, had I just stayed strong and continued to work the plan... ah!

But, I have just begun again. I am working the WW plan this time around. This week, I lost 2.4lbs.

So, I wanted to re-introduce myself with the first of many celebrations.

Hi! I remember you! Welcome back!

Your story isn't unusual -- it's hard to find something you can stick with forever. I know many many people try different approaches to find one that really works (including me!)! I hope ww is it for you (it's a good program)!

So, don't feel bad -- you are in good company!!

Ah, I can't even count the number of times I lost weight, and then gained most or all of it back. Hundreds of pounds over the years. We all keep trying until we succeed.

Welcome back! You have taken the first step to get back on track. Keep coming and posting, it really does help to keep your weight loss going in the right direction. 3FC is so motivating and informational and FUN!

Thank you all again for your very kind words. I run the risk of making myself sound incredibly corny by saying this, but it's nice to have someone to talk to about the struggles I face with my weight. Unfortunately, I live very far away from my best friend, who is fantastic at comiserating with me and making me feel pretty even when I just feel fat. But coming here helps fill in the gaps.

Thanks to you all.

Oh I agree. It's absolutely wonderful to be able to speak with others who know exactly where I'm coming from. The struggles of losing and then maintaining weight is definitely a topic that can not be brought up in our everyday "real" lives. 3FC is spectacular place to delve into all the topics that arise daily on the matter.

As for losing then gaining and now starting to lose again, well I'm sure you're aware that is a VERY common occurence. I'm so glad you're ready to get back into the losing side of things again. You're already off to a fabulous re-start! Good luck to you.
