Default Shopping in the back of my closet

For years I've been taking more and more out of my closet and donating it. I told myself long ago that when AND IF I ever lost weight that I would deserve new clothes. However, I decided to send some of the nice dressy type skirts to my sister. She and her daughter like wearing them, especially to church. In fact, I ended up leaving the skirt there that I took back for my mom's funeral. It had grown and no longer fit me! It fit a few months ago.

Anyway, I found some pants that I thought I'd donated. I haven't worn them in a couple of years. Why were they still in the closet? I have me some pants that fit! I'm beginning to love shopping in the back of my closet!

WHEEEEEEE!

ooooohhhh....i know that feeling. It has been such a treat to pull stuf out of my closet that i haven't worn in like 8 years and see them either fit...or begin to fit again. Very exciting!!!

I used to have weekly "fashion shows" where I would try on clothes that had gotten too small to see if they fit yet. It was an awesome feeling as I got closer and closer and then eventually fit into each one!

Even more awesome though is that now that I am almost at goal, all those clothes are too big and I've given most of it away. I'm the smallest I've been since I was a child, even stuff I wore in high school is too big.

Keep up the good work and thanks for the laugh!

I'm glad I could make you smile.

Blue, you've given me an idea. I think I'll pull everything out of the closet this weekend and have a little fashion show for myself.

I'm not gonna need new clothes for a LONG while. I have size jeans ranging from 22-11 in my closet and that goes the same for shirts. I'll end up needing new clothes at 130-140, but it'll be awhile yet
