Question Measuring myself...

I decided to ignore the scales for a while as they don't seem to work for me but people keep telling me I'm looking smaller without me telling them I've changed my lifestyle. So I bought a tape measure today and measured various body parts. How often should I remeasure to expect results???
I am eating 1500 calories a day and go to the gym 5 days a week for at least an hour including at least 45mins of cardio.
Any ideas would be helpful

thanks

I measure monthly - or, more accurately, when I remember which tends to be about every six weeks rather than monthly. I have to set myself a reminder to measure more often.

A former WW Leader told me that monthly is best because then you should be able to see a difference, versus weekly when things like TOM could play havoc with your measurements, but it's completely your call.

Honestly? I measure every Monday and record it. But then, I record my weight on Mondays, too. Something has always changed a little bit... at least so far!

I forgot to take initial measurements when I first got started. I didn't measure for the first time until I had been working on my new plan for over a month. But I have since measured twice in the last 5-6 weeks. The inches lost are so reassuring when the scale is not moving for days on end!! Unfortunately, the first measurement to get smaller was my bust!
