Im so mad at me right now

  • Ok.. so its that TOM and I bought a little Blue Bunny Personal thing ( turtle sundae) last week just to have on the first day because thats when I feel frumpy and crave the heck out of ooey gooey ice cream, so I said hey.. I will get a little thing that way there is no room for seconds. Well..my brain must have checked out because I thought it only had 180 cals.. and didnt think to look at the serving size because it was called a PER-SON-AL... f'in A man... its friggin' 2 servings.. but I didnt realize until I was entering it into my calories and it was GONE. So.. I intended on spending 180 cals and spent 360 instead.. crap. Im at 1100 cals and its 2:47pm.. Im pissed oh well.. live ya learn. Im off work today so its my long day at the gym, and I guess it veggies for dinner tonight.. gonna slip in some protein too to keep me full so a veggie burger with no bun it is! I friggin HATE this TOM crap.. because it tooootally ruins my groove. Munchies munchies munchies.
  • ..................... did I mention I was pissed? Maybe its hormones or that my jaw is sore because the dentist left my mouth open while she left the room for 100 years this morning.. but I am ... im livid. Im going to the gym, eatting dinner and going to bed lol.. gahhhhhh
  • Awww. I hate when I accidentally look up calories incorrectly and happily pig out without realizing it. At least tomorrow is another day!

    I'm at TOM, too. It has been a struggle. You have my sympathies.

  • Chalk it up to "**it happens". Be glad it was the personal size instead of the 1/2 gallon size!!!!
  • TOM screwed up my diet yesterday. It also mad me way too tired to exercise. Today I feel better. Tomorrow will be better for you to.
  • A PERSONAL sundae is actually 2 servings? WTF is up with that???? I would have made the same mistake. Then again, it's only 180 extra calories, which, over the course of a week, doesn't amount to a hill of beans, really. It's probably less than 2% of your weekly calories (I figured that based on a guess of 1300 per day). You'll be fine, expecially since you're a workout queen.
  • Aww, don't be so hard on yourself! Mistakes like that are made all the time, but at least you know that the slip-up was because of really stupid and impractical nutritional info (I agree with Janie; who is going to share a personal cone?!) and not because of a lack of willpower or discipline. You did well!

    And really, 180 extra isn't much. Just eat 25 fewer calories than planned each day for the next week and you'll be all square again.

    If it's all you have to account for, I think 'undoing the damage' will probably be done in no time.
