l00py - at 154 you're NOT obese, so I would seriously look at those "herbal obesity drugs!" They probably won't do you any good, and they may make you feel like $h!t. Just my 2 penn'orth.
I think you've got the exercise down - also don't forget to rest so that your muscles recover. All strengthening and fuel burning (FAT BURNING) happens when you're recovering from exercise. Too much can be a bad thing. So don't go too mental with it!
I think when you're close to goal zig-zagging your calories can help. It takes a long time to get the last few pounds off and they don't come off as easily as the first few. Check out the Featherweights forum in Support Groups for people in similar situations.
