Great replies everyone, thank you from another person who has only lost 1 lb in 1.5 weeks on SB. I have about 40lbs to lose, and after trying a basic low fat diet (watching calories and portions, watching fat and sodium, trying to eat only whole grains and fresh fruits/veggies and lean meats)... I figured SB was worth a shot, since I haven't gotten any of the 40lbs to budge on my PREVIOUS 5 months of eating well.
I guess SOME progress is better than none, eh? I'm doing a modified SB P1 due to some dizziness and severe headaches I had in the first 4 days while following it flat-out. I found that adding the tiniest bit of whole grains and sugar to my day has caused that to cease (immediate results)... which is probably another reason I haven't had quite the results on Phase 1 that I would have liked.
Any other advice anyone might have is appreciated!
