Wow - if that isn't a load of fat I don't know what is!!!!

I live in Scotland and a popular late-night food here is deep-fried cheeseburgers - battered with the cheese on and tossed right in the fryer! YUCK!!!

Neither burger sounds remotely appetizing to me!

Yeah, I've heard of the Kispy Kreme burger thing--it's been going on here for a while. What I don't understand is how those flavors even go well together--I mean, I don't add sweet things to my burgers normally. I use ketchup, mustard, and/or mayo, not honey or icing Fat and calories aside, it just doesn't sound very yummy to me. A deep-fried cheeseburger, on the other hand...

At TGIFriday's here, they have a burger with bacon and cheese PLUS a big fried cheese circle on top--kinda like a big, round mozzarella stick, but I think it's provolone. My boyfriend has gotten it a few times, and I joke about having to go straight to the ER afterwards. It's insane! And we wonder why so many people are so obese here in the good ol' USA

Deep fried candy bars are awesome!! LOL Granted, it is a heart attack on a stick, but where I live, we can only get them during the summer at the county fairs... so one a year can't be that bad (I just can't have any this summer)
Last summer, a friend of mine who refuses to eat healthy, in one evening at the county fair had: deep fried candy bar, deep fried twinkie, a fried chicken sandwich with french fries, and a bloomin onion!!!! ack, talk about artery clogging goodness LOL (and amazingly this friend is not overweight at all).

As for the krispy kreme donut burger.... I agree that it just doesn't sound like it would taste good....I wouldn't eat it because it is a weird combination, not necessarily because of the fat/calorie content.

Deeo fried oreos are the best!! They are crunchy on the outside because it is coated in Funnel Cake batter and then oh so goey on the inside because the cookie kinda melts and mixes with the cream! Never had a deep fried candy bar but I am sure it is along the same lines.

As for the Krispy Creme Burger! Um no! I don't like Krispy Cremes so as it is. Give me an old fashioned donut any day.

I never had fried candy or cookies and I've never had funnel cake. I've been to a county fair a few times, but the only thing I remember eating fried was fried zucchini.

I don't like donuts so I can't imagine liking a donut cheeseburger. No wonder we are a nation of obese people, we keep finding ways to add fat and sugar to our diets.

Me neither! I've had fried cauliflower once, but never candy or twinkies or anything like that. I also grew up in New England, and we didn't have funnel cakes at fairs or even at Riverside (which is now Six Flags)--instead, we had fried dough, which was AWESOME! Now they have replaced fried dough with funnel cakes at Six Flags, and I hate them (have only tried it once, and only a couple nibbles, but it's not NEARLY as good as fried dough ).

Mmmmmmmmmmmm funnel cake. Haven't had any in almost 3 years but dang are they good.

The Krispy Kreme burger sounds nasty to me. Just another example of unhealthy eating in America.

Mmmm, fried dough with cinnamon sugar... we have them here at every fair. I just look longingly and I walk past them, if I attempted to eat anything fried I would be in pain for a week.

Yeah, what is up with that? I just don't get the math, so many thin people eat way more than it seems they could possibly burn off. Guess life's just not fair.

I heard about the Krispy Kreme burgers on TV recently, maybe it was the Daily Show? Anyway, gross! And I’m not just saying that because I’m a vegetarian.

lol I know what you'all mean. I love when the fair comes by (in October >_<) I never hand fried candy bars or cookies or funnle cakes but I am stuck on Indian Fry bread.
*dreamy look* Mmmmmm man I love Indian Fry bread sooooo much, I could live off it... and most likely die from it too being it's about 40% lard.. *twitch*

IMO I think some people are attracted to the fact that its a "Krispy Kreme" doughnut. You cant get those everywhere. Those things are the bomb! And drive by one when the hot doughnut sign is up and just try and ignore the smell!! Mmmmmmmm doughnuts......

Half the reason is because we are a nation of convience and people are unimaginative when it comes to healthy convience. There are only so many times I can eat a salad or sandwhich without getting tired of it. It just doesn't taste as good after a while.
