Study after study after study shows full fat dairy is associated with lower BMI. I remember at my highest 340 I made one change only full fat to skim milk. I dropped to around 280s to 290s never cracked 300s again.
Without fats dairy has nothing to mute the insulin causing sugars. Much higher insulin response and insulin is the fat storage hormone.
Also missing out on a ton of nutrition in dairy when you go skim and low fat.
