Found this referenced in a video I linked under carb counters called Diet, Health, and the Wisdom of Crowds.
So he goes on a 21 day 5,000 calories plus a day diet with low carb. And?????? He does gain a couple of pounds but loses an inch on his waist. So he gained muscle.
Then he goes on a 21 day 5,000 calories more conventional, USDA, food pyramid recommended diet (ok more of it). He gains 16 lbs in 21 days and 4 inches on his waist....
Ok I watched more of it. His high carb diet was pretty low quality. But still remarkable results.
