Default A different POV on weight loss: Eat More, Move Less

http://greatist.com/fitness/eat-more...transformation

The title is a bit sensationalist. But the author is effectively saying that by increasing her protein and fibre intake, she reduced the desire to binge and eat junk. And that by replacing chronic cardio with resistance training, she added muscle and lost fat. Not revolutionary, but worth repeating.

At the very least, it makes a strong argument for trying new strategies, and figuring out what works for YOU! Not what you think SHOULD work for you.

And another, on long-term weight loss; adjusting our assumptions.

If you'll forgive a few pictures of scantily clad men:

A calorie is not always a calorie.

My pleasure - I have a bad habit of playing devil's advocate sometimes, but I really do enjoy the conversation/contemplation these articles can start.

I am glad I came across this topic. I also learned from the article.
I will start doing some strength building exercises.
