That IS interesting! I do IF and skip my breakfast so I'm wondering if I should do the opposite. It would be incredibly difficult for me though because I get most of my urges to eat at night. I wonder if this info is applicable to those without Diabetes.

Now that obesity has been declared a disease, I imagine that we'll start to see a lot more research and a lot more debunking of the previously published information on losing weight. Thanks for sharing this.

Well the things to remember is
1) 1 study isn't proof
2) This was a fairly small short term study with those that have diabetes

I also thought there had been multiple studies showing that multiple meals vs 3 didn't matter but I could be wrong. There have also been other studies in the past that showed greater weight loss with one diet in the beginning but in the long term, other diets performed better. Who knows if this plan would even out in the long term or has a lower compliance level in the long term.

Overall, I still think it is what works for you. You may try 2 meals/day and think it works well but if it doesn't, don't think that you've failed.

Thanks for posting this Arctic Mama! I've read about ways to reset your eating habits is to make sure you have a 12-16hr "fast" from your last meal until your Break"fast" . So this would be inline with that thinking.

I just got on the scale for first time in 3 months and saw (what I had suspected) that I had regained 28lbs of a 40lb weight loss. When I was losing weight I made sure to not eat minimum 12 hrs from Dinner to Breakfast. I think I'll put that strategy back into practice!
