I don't really think the study shows anything useful in the real world. I avoid added sugars myself but how does the effect of eating fruit have on fat building? Fructose is mixed with fiber in nature. Also,the fact remains that if you ate less calories than your body used then you would burn the calories from the fructose. Then of course even if fat synthesis is faster, it doesn't mean it doesn't happen with glucose/sucrose.
You can't out-exercise poor eating habits.
