This Christmas, loads of us have probably requested only dark chocolate be offered as a treat in our stockings and from friends due to the supposed benefits that it provides.

I found this article today, and well, we could just all be in it for nothing! And I havent actually found a single dark chocolate brand so far that lists the amount of Flavanols it contains or whether they've been removed.

Dark Chocolate: Not as healthy as we thought?

I dont know if anyone knows of a brand that actually has flavanols? A low fat/sugar free brand at that?

I wondered how long this would take, LOL. In fact not too long ago I was talking with a friend of mine and we were going on and on about how one day a certain food is good for you and the next day it's not and I said, "You watch, it'll be dark chocolate here soon."

Doesn't bother me any because I don't like dark chocolate anyway. So I wouldn't know which brand has what amounts of flavanols.

oh well it still tastes a lot better than milk chocolate and satisfies with less.
