Not technically vegetarian since most versions contain anchovies:
Worcestershire sauce is a widely used fermented liquid condiment. It is currently made with vinegar, molasses, corn syrup, water, chilli peppers, soy sauce, pepper, tamarinds, anchovies, onions, shallots, cloves and garlic.

Whether it's vegetarian or not, I can tell you it's not particularly tasty I had it one salad and threw the (expensive) bottle away--I threw away the rest of that salad after just a few bites, too It has zero fat, zero carbs, zero calories...and zero taste

Jilly, I had a similar reaction to the calorie free French dressing they make. The stuff was just plain gross to me. I had a serious "Ick" reaction to it.
