Broccoli. Smells like the worst SBD while cooking. Tastes like ... well, a terrible SBD would taste (silent-but-deadly). DH and DS love it, and I know it's a nutritional powerhouse ... but they crack up watching my face while I eat it. Sauteed in chicken stock, with toasted pine nuts and mushrooms, almost but not quite hides its vileness.

OK, I get to dart back to here, with a proper veggie nomination.

I do like (or will glumly eat) almost any "common" vegetable. However, in the course of exploring the supermarket, I have ventured into the exotic foods section.

Horned melons are revolting! They don't have much flavor, but the texture of the seedy innards is slimy and gross.

I've only bought one of these, but I made myself eat a few spoonfuls of it each day, to prove it wouldn't go to waste! LOL. Yuck. Never again!

So kind of like passionfruit? I like the look of it but it doesn't do much for me.

Beets! Yuck.

The only time I ever enjoyed them was in Ireland...with goat cheese and peas.
But you can't hate anything served with goat cheese...

I tried to give them another shot last week and ordered them in a salad.

Cooked spinach, chard or kale. It turns to slim and tastes like a slug. Don't mind them raw or roasted.

i love most veggies but i don't like canned veggies, also hate lima beans, carrots, sweet potatos, parsnips, not a huge fan of peppers but i will eat them, i do like them a lot when they are mixed with onion on a big steak lol

i have never had eggplant, kinda want to try it, but i don't know what in the heck to do to it,

my problem is fruit, eeeeew, i have recently discovered that i like clementines, probably because they taste like candy, and i can do the pink grapefruit with salt, but things like apples and bananas nooooooo
