I'm on a low calorie diet, and I thought that veggies wouldn't count as anything big, since they're so healthy. But do onions have calories?? I love them and eat them on everything, and I thought it was ok, but I've seen a lot of posts saying that they're a "bag veggie". What's the deal??
Everything has calories, but veggies are generally a good deal because of the nutrition and fiber. 1/2 cup of raw onion has 30 calories, which should pretty much allow you to knock yourself out. Weight Watcher's includes them in with other "free" veggies.
