Default Became vegetarian a year ago

I married a vegetarian, and last May I gave up meat. I love animals and i knew how the food industry treated them.. all good reasons to stop eating it. But my #1 reason was cause the cancer research.

I had cervical cancer when i was 18, it was removed, Im ok now. My dad 81 has lung cancer and my brother 46 has colon cancer. Both love their meat.

years ago i have the privalage to meet a woman who was give 6 months to live, she had throat cancer, she changed her diet and did all natural things to become cancer free and out live her death date by almost 10 years. She did die, but cancer free, she was an older lady and had kidney issues that got her.

Anyway it was a matter of alkaline v.s acidic body.

Since becoming a vegetarian I havent lost any weight. I didnt gain either, but i did eat way too many carbs and sugar that i was craving that was causing me hypoglcemic symptoms.

Long story short.... b12 deficiant! Started taking it and the sugar cravings have left and i got my engery back.

So now with my new found life i can get back on track eating whole foods and exercising. I have cut out sugar, white flours, and processed foods.

All diets seem to have meat in them, so i have to change it up a bit, but its not hard. Lentils are the answer to a substitute in any recipe 99.9% of the time.

I do still eat eggs and cheese for now, but i would like to become vegan, but its already hard enough seeing where they sneak in animal still in food as it is, eggs are in sooo much stuff. But again the answer to that problem is never eat anything processed. You know what goes in it if you make it!
