Default SlimFast and Soy Milk?

Has anyone heard of this being done? She was talking about doing Peta's 30 day challenge with her daughter and how she does Slimfast every couple of months and now that she has done this pledge she's been using soy milk instead of regular 1% or 2%. Would it still work? Comments anyone?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Light soy milk has less calories than 2%, not sure about 1% since I haven't bought cow's milk in years.

I believe Slimfast has milk in it? When I went to look up the ingredients, the first 2 ingredients are dairy. Nonfat Dry milk and cream cheese solids. No reason it wouldn't work with soy milk, almond milk or other types of nondairy milks but I'd double check the ingredients if whoever was trying to be dairy free.

I had no idea Slimfast had dairy in it...it doesn't shock me really...well I guess that lady is kinda cheating on her 30 day challenge hehe. Then again there are different types of vegetarianism. My mom tried slimfast about 4 years ago, lost a little weight, I think 15 pounds over a year but once she stopped it all came back.

I tried to mix slimfast and soymilk once... I don't know what it was, but the two tasted HORRIBLE together. Like dirty socks. But I did get the original soymilk, so maybe a vanilla flavored one wouldn't be too bad?

Does it bother you that about 90% of all soy is genetically modified? I've done my best to cut soy out of my diet during the last year. SlimFast is something I wouldn't touch for other reasons. I've also stopped buying processed drinks because most are made with fluoridated water.
