Default Woohoo! Congrats to Finland!!!

I know they will be thought of as a novelty band but Kerrang have been mentioning Lordi for some time.

I must admit I did not turn on until the voting and they are the only band I had heard of before but I can just imagine the rest (just from looking at them)......

I knew they were on but forgot to watch it all, well I actually I turned over to watch a few mins of Big Brother and got "sucked in" until the end and only turned back of for the voting, then fell asleep and missed the rest of it.

Note - I only ever read Kerrang on a train , at Reading Festival and occasionally standing up in WH Smith or ASDA

The greek guy at work agreed with me that Lordi were the best and that the Greek entry was cr*p but he apparenlty liked the look of the Coratian lady who apparenlty likes to film herself having sex and -well, would you believe it- the tape got nicked and is on the internet where - gosh, this is hard to believe as well- said Greek colleague "accidently" downloaded it (as you do-well , I don't!) .....

Gosh I really do not know how these things happen (I am sure it is not publicitity he he). Funnily enough, I bet any tapes of her Auntie Olga's 70th birthday were not nicked....

So many things are downloaded from the internet 'accidentally'

Sounds like Moo accidentally reads kerrang a lot as well.

Well it could be worse - it could have been "Health and Efficiency" which I did not know really exists! For those not in the know it is for naturists (yeah those who go around naked). A guy in front of me in SMiths bought it . Obviously the "naturists" are all slim blondes....

We used to have a couple of those live next door. They used to let it all hang out in the garden until someone reported them to the Police - they were idiots to do it, we have a public foot path running along the back of our gardens and local schools have nature rambles on the Moors (the path leads on the Moors). It was all deeply embarrassing. According to the postie they used to 'forget' and open the door like it. They were definitely not slim and blonde.

I knew about Lordi weeks ago and threw a bet on.....

I won £220

10/1 @ £20

I just knew they would win Eurovison, as they where something different and the song was great....

You can see the video of "Hard Rock Halleluja" at the Lordi site...

http://eurovision.lordi.org/

and there recent album is due to be released here next week...

My £220 is going towards my holiday fund!
