My mum just called with the results of her biopsy: 'precancerous'. I asked what that was and she said it meant more testing. She seems optimistic and told me everything will probably turn out fine, so I'll try not to let it worry me unless there's definite bad news.

I love the sales - a skirt and a top for £10.50 each (reduced from £35 each)

Next month I am going for a big try-on. I thought I would try only the best boutiques first Le Tesco, Le Asda or perhaps really lash out and try Le Sainsburys!!! I suspect I am around a 20, my size 22 jeans are loose, and I bought size 20 tank tops the other day, they are all a bit loose rather than tight! Yay!!

I want to be an 18 by September, for my friends wedding. I am really wanting a nice frock from Monsoon.

I think Le Asda may be just a bit too posh for you

I love shopping at Tesco at the moment, almost all my holiday stuff is from there.

Pah! Our "Le Sainsburys" Only has about 3 types of t shirt and Le Waitrose is obviously too posh to stoop to the level of selling clothes! The worst thing is that there's no Primark near our new house

However there is a MASSIVE store near work

Kyk, I have a lovely lovely frock from Monsoon! I just wish I had more chances to wear it! It's orange at the top that fades into red at the bottom with a strapless bustier type thingy, then the rest is just a column and it has a bow at the back! NICE!

Ok time to work now!

Where I live we only have a kwik save and co-op!!! I will have to go travelling for my supermarket sweep!!! I think I am getting down because I have so few clothes that fit. Our management decided to have casual clothes week, I can just about cope with one casual day a week, but four have me scratching around the bottom of my wardrobe!!! Egads!!!

Thanks veggie, I'm trying.

The last clothes I bought were size 28 jeans from M&S. They're way too big for me now. I can put them on and take them off without unzipping or unbuttoning!

I never unzip mine! I'm in size 26/28 trousers and 30 tops.

Eep lots of 'alerts' in London on the news.

Yeah, my husband just told me! Incidents at Warren Street, Oval and Shepherd's Bush stations and a route 26 bus in Hackney Road. Going to watch the news now.

Glad he's so inspiring for you. When they are all in Downing St in a crisis I can't help think of the Slitheens in Dr Who now.
