Alright the guilt trip worked I've just casually walked 2mls will work up to a little jog (i.e. 2 minutes ) over the weekend

Only managed 2 X 1.5mins Jogs Frus @ 5mph. Maybe if I go a bit slower i'll last a bit longer i'm going to have another go tomorrow and Sunday How about we do a Cyber Race for Life? You post your progress here and i'll tag along in other words try and do the best that I can I think it might motivate me to get off my butt too

You're shaming me into doing some running cos I haven't been out for a week now! I'll maybe go tomorrow after my knees have settled down a bit!

2 x 1.5 mins is great going to start off with! I only managed 2 mins on the treadmill and couldn't be bothered to do any more after my walking rest!

I've signed up for this, I'm doing it on the 5th or 6th July I think (I can't remember which, but sometime round then). I managed to jog 5km on the treadmill a couple of weeks ago in 34 minutes which I was really pleased with, but I then hurt my foot so even though it's better now I haven't wanted to put too much stress on it by trying again too soon. Still, the day is coming so I suppose I'd better get back in training soon!
