Hey!
I'm 24, 5foot 6, 12.5 stone, I didn't realise how big I was until I saw my naked self in my full length mirror, I am horrified!
I need to shift this weight, now.
I done some of the "30 day shred" and 2 days later still ache a bit

So, anyone got any tips?
I was going to go to my doctors but don't think they can help or can they?
Im so depressed about it, I haven't been out the house since, even in this sun! I cant stand looking at myself,

Hey Jemma!

Have you got any ideas in mind about the type of diet you'd like to try? Try checking out some of the various forums for a plan to suit you, personally I'm a fan of calorie counting and have a really good app on my phone that I use to track my food and exercise.

I think we all have mixed experiences with doctors, but there would be no harm in making an appointment and explaining your ideas, they may be offer advice and clear you for exercising if you are at all worried. I think the best thing to do is to let yourself in gently so you don't burn out after a week and give up! Way to go on the 30ds though, I've heard that's really difficult

Good luck!

Hey :-)
Yeah that killed lol, I was in agony, couldn't even walk down my stairs the next morning, I never knew I had muscle where it ached!
Im not sure about which diet, I have an app on my phone called "Noom" which I find handy, the problem I have is I have hypomobility, gout in my joints and a ripped cartalidge (riding accident years ago that I was meant to have an op on but I fell pregnant with my little girl) So I find some workouts hard, my knee's are killing today, yesterday was my right hip & knee,
I know my weight doesn't help my joints, and its putting pressure on it, I haven't been this big before, but since I moved to my new house (7 months ago) I have slacked a lot, Im not riding as much as I was (I was riding my friends horse 4 days a week) and here is no hills to walk up where my old town I used to walk them every day to the hills then up & down them, so I know I have got lazy, its food, its so nice in the evening to sit down with some galaxy, and the kids are fussy eaters so I end up eating what they have, Ive just done Asda home delivery shopping, so Im not tempted in the supermarket to buy random crap, and made sure I got kids meals I don't like and got healthy stuff for me,
How many calories should I be taking in per day? x
