Default I'm new and about to start my weightloss journey

Hi everyone I'm 25 and I've only been on my diet a week. So far I have lost 4lbs but in total I would like to loose 4stone. I was never really that big, a size UK 16 then I had my son and after having him I gained lots of weight and I'm now a size 18/20. My son is 14 months so I am hoping to loose the weight fast and keep it up but would like support and to support others in the same situation so I'm glad I found this forum!

Welcome! I'm a newbie here too. I've been on my journey for a few months now, but feel like I've just started. That's great that you dropped four pounds in your first week. Keep it up!

Hi Kjc25, great to have you here If you stick around I'm sure you'll find this place really helpful in getting you to your goal.... It's been my lifesaver, and although I'm not there yet, I know with 3Fc's I will make it!

I'm also a UK chick, but living away at the moment. Hopefully out board will liven up soon and you'll get lots of help and support.

Are you following any particular diet or exercise plan?

Good luck!

Taking a break from the scale, but BACK WITH A BANG! When I'm back in the UK in April 2013 I hope to be lower than 168, which is from July 2012ish and the lowest I got before some regaining. Until then, it's all about good food and exercise and no obsessing over numbers!

Hi I'm currently following the Atkins diet although I'm not very strict with myself but I have managed to loose more weight on it, I've only been on it a week so far.

Hey Kjc25, glad to hear the atkins is working well for you

Although, if you're not being that strict then perhaps what you're doing is just making healthier choices, which works great!

I hope that you stick around this place, check out our main chat thread, UK Chicks Challenge or something like that, you'll see most action in there and soon get to know us all and find lots of support
