Well any minutes of shaking your booty is good. We bought Zumba for my daughter which is pigging hard work on the wii. And no cheating by flicking your wrist instead of moving your body. Cycling and sword fighting quite taxing. I find the yoga and balance stuff good especially for improved posture!
Enjoy!
PS You have lost an amazing amount of weight what plan are you following?

I love the strength training section - you can set up your own routine and do it every day.

I highly recommend WalkitOut by Konami for the wii. It is available on amazon and there is a discussion thread on Amazon about the game. It is addicting. Have fun!

Mountain walker-I tend to stick to calorie counting and exercising. Whaat I found works for me is calorie and carb cycling, so I have low cal days, low carb weeks, followed by higher calorie days and higher carb weeks, I find it stops my body getting used to one particular plan/exercise. Mixing it up is the best way I have found to lose weight. I can't drive so I walk everywhere, I go to the gym, fitness classes, dvds at home (bellydancing and tae bo) I also have a small 100 cal treat a day (freddo, mini milk, choc snack a jack etc) also keep a food diary, I use an online tool called myfitnesspal.com. Good luck and well done on your weight loss so far.

I got a Wii in April and haven't looked back. Normally each morning I'd do a warm up of some yoga and a few muscle stretches. Then I move in to the more aerobic exercises, kung fu advanced then boxing advanced 10 mins and the advanced step. If I'm feeling good after that I might do some jogging and donsome more yoga to warm down. I have been naughty tho.

I havent been on there for 3 weeks.... What with house sitting and other crap that's been going on, I either haven't had a chance or just haven't wanted to. That all ends tomorrow... I hope!!

That's if I have the living room to myself in the morning...

I love it! I like doing the island lap of jogging as it burns so many calories, but it kills my knees and feet jogging on the spot

Thanks Isobel Rose. I have read a few times that a sort of mix and match is the best way for you and your body not to get stuck in a rut....good advice!

I have found the Jacknives really work your abs and after not doing them for awhile then doing them, my whole belly/chest area hurts the next day. It's a feel good hurt though I tend to do the advanced step quite a bit, and usually do 25 minutes or 5 reps of the advanced step followed by 5 minutes of jacknives to reach my 30 minute mark for the day

I love, love, love the yoga exercises! Sun salutation and warrior pose are the favourites so far. Also the boyfriend couldn't beat my top scores, I love it considering he's much fitter than me (cardio wise, although my balance and centre of gravity is better than his)

I have to say I have found the yoga to be brilliant, I have selected the ones that suit me best and it has significantly reduced general aches and pains I now do the same exercises often without even bothering to put the Wii on. Every now and then I do a Wii age check just to make sure I'm not losing it

Today I did rhythm kung fu (beginner), Island lap, rhythm boxing (super advanced, 14 mins of yoga. With just over 200 cals burned. With walking and another mini session tonight I should burn around 450 cals today.

Okay, gang, I have a question... I have the original Wii Fit. I predominately do the aerobic section (dance and walk) and sometimes the boxing. Love it. So, should I get the Wii Fit Plus game?
