Had a bit of a wobble late last night and took my days cals up to 2,019
Was 17st 7lbs this morning
and todays cals at 1,441

overall for 6 days I think I've done really well, and have decided to sponser myself £5 a lb lost and get myself new clothes at the end I can ''collect'' and spend some when I get to 15 stone as I have nothing to wear at that weight!

Official first weeks weigh in in the morning fingers crossed!

Good luck hunny, not that you need it by the sounds of it. Don't worry about the slip up. we all have those from time to time. I'm hoping I've lost but I'm not holding my breath lol

Good luck for wi today!

Great idea with the sponsoring. I did something similar and it's great fun going out with your "winnings" and treating yourself.

I agree with the previous poster who recommended Myfitnesspal, I've been on there for 132 days and in that time I've shifted a whopping 58lb. I'm rarely hungry and if I want a night out or some treat food, a bit of extra exercise gives me the extra calories so I don't go over

Fed up is an understatement. All weekend I have watched my hands and ankles and face balloon up, and i am 7lb heavier than I was on Friday - now at 17st 12lbs This is what happenes every single bloody month - I am hoping to **** that once I stop my periods it'll mean I can get somewhere with all this, otherwise I am going to see about getting a hysterectomy which will mean end of these cysts and pain once and for all. I am due on in 3 days time then get the injection so fingers crossed or I am going to be found dead in bed one of these mornings.

edit, the **** make it look like I swore!

I know how you feel hunny. I weighed myself, had a loss. Weighed myself this morning and I'm up 4lbs!!! I know that's not my official weight, but its still pissing me off.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. MEN HAVE IT EASY!!! Whoever decided that women should have to go thro this **** every month needs to have their balls cut off!!!

Hello Pentangle - how's it going for you? I've enjoyed reading your updates! I do agree with some other posters though, maybe up your calorie limit to around 1500 for your weight and height. I'm on 1200 per day, and I'm only 5'2 and 11stone something. If you eat too little calories for the day, as you probably know, your body will reserve your fat instead of burning it as it assumes you're going through a hard time getting food. If you're eating enough, and regularly (every four hours) your body will use the stored fat when you're on your calorie deficit, whch is what you want. Otherwise, it'll eat up your lean muscle, which you definitely don't want because every pound of muscle burns an extra 50 calories. That's why exercise is so important too - it turns your body into a much more efficient fat burner.

Try portioning your calories into meals, and sticking regular to them. For example, eat 300-400 for breakfast, the same for lunch, and around 400-500 for dinner. You'd leave some room for healthy snacks, too. Also - try not to eat after 8pm. You won't metabolise it like you would during the day!

I wish you all the best, good luck, stick to your guns and you'll see that goal in no time!
