Hey was just wondering if anyone can help. I have dark spots around my bikini area. Going on holiday in 3 months time and trying to find a way to minimize them. I have tried a whitening soap stuff but that didn't seem to work quite well, well maybe because I didn't give it enough time. Was just wondering if any of you have the same issue and if there is any cream or anything else that could help to get rid of them. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I was using lemon juice a few times a week and that helped to lighten them. Potato is also known to be a natural skin-bleaching agent.

Is it acanthosis nigricans?

Mine come and go depending on how tight I am with IR control and weight loss.

I've had it on neck, elbows, knees, ankle, inner thigh, under breasts, armpits etc.

Right now mainly inner thigh, ankle and elbows are the worst.

If you think it is that -- get a check up and if it is that, don't worry to much about vacation. Have fun with it and just take it one thing at a time. AN clears up on its own once the reason causing it is taken care of.

Thanks for your reply. I googled acanthosis nigricans and mine is no where near as bad as some of the images I have seen. Think I will try lemon and potato and hopefully this can improve the look of my skin.
