remeber that each shop has their own sizes, i find shops like h&m quite stingy in their dress sizes whereas new look are quite generous

Tell me about it! I bought a Primarni dress in Jan last year thinking I'd slim into it by Aug - size 18 - and I STILL can't get into it!
H&M I'm ok with though. Their stuff seems to fit me quite well. And I've just discovered that River island is finally a possibility - oh the excitement

lol primark is the worst, if you go to the lipsy website and press a dress, the sizing guideline is pretty accurate

i did a zumba session on the wii for the first time today, by god i did sweat. i felt really good afterwards though, sat on the sofa to chill out for a bit then when i got back up i was aching, so i guessed it works. i also walked the dog 2miles this morning so hopefully ive cracked those calories and they starting to drop off =]

You can do this, just find a method that works for you and that you can stick to.
I dropped from 200lb (after 2 pregnancies), it took me a while to find out what worked for me, and what foods kept me full up the longest (cause i like to eat big plates of food).
Good luck x

hi girls! can i jump in here too?
I'm 260lbs and a size 20. Would love to be in a 14, thats the size i was when i met my husband and when i was that size i never thought i didnt look good, so really want to get back to that.
I'm aiming to lose 3 stone this year, thats 42lbs, so not even a lb a week. I am aiming for 21lbs by june 1st.
I'm also following slimming world. been doing it since jan 1st and feel its a plan that really suits me.

Hi Bonnie,
I know alot of people who have had success with slimming world! I'm from Ireland too and I know sometimes it is hard to get motivated especially this time of year when its cold and rainey! You CAN do this, stay focused and motivated by how far you have come already and not how far you have to go!

Good luck everyone! I also started off about a size 20 bottoms and 16/18 top half, I'm now a 14 top and 16 bottoms just about everywhere although some are still too small. How infuriating are different sizes?!
My original aim was 14, but now I'd really like to one day be in 12s. The further along in my journey I get, the more I believe it could be possible!
Good luck everyone
