Lightbulb New Slimmer Hi!

Hi

I'm Rosie

I'm a new slimmer!

I've lost 10 lb so far.
I weight 12 stone and am 5 foot 8. I want to lose 28 lb bu the end of August (at 2lb per week- maybe a bit ambitious but a girl has gotta dream right!)

I'm weighing once a week
Avoiding most processed foods
Cooking more
Eating loads of fruit and vegetables to fill me up

I have bought a wii and am exercising with zumba, I also have lots of fitness dvds to get out of storage :S

I've just started tracking calories which is totally new for me, there's this free site, foodfocus.co.uk that seems fab as a calorie counter.

I'm trying to avoid any particular programme as I want to prove I can do this myself and I'd like to lose weight without spending lots of money !!

I'm fedup of feeling bad about myself about being fat, not fitting my clothes, having terrible photos, not living my life.

Looking for support when times get hard.

12 stone and 5'8 I am jealous as im a shorty and a fatty to boot
Wii fit is so good for motivation I love it. you sounds pretty clued up on what you want and how to get it.
Good luck and the chicks on this site are great for when you need a lift or just a chat about missing chocs or full fat coke

Marie, I wish I was more petite, I'm forever being called big boned. Your photo is lovely. Thanks for the jelly tip for desserts

Did my zumba wii 45 mins this morning! Feel amazing.. gotta love those endorphins.. Now I'm drinking tea and watching the Royal Wedding on the tele.. life is good

Excited for weigh in on Sunday. ... have my fingers crossed for 2 lbs.

Hi Rosie, Thank you for comment about the pic, its me and my youngest bubba I get called big boned too even though i am a shorty

Good luck for tomorrow, Im not weighing in this week I have had way to much easter eggs I will weigh in next saturday though Iv got a plan for next week I need to do more exercise.

Welcome! I love the sound of the Zumba dance. I wanted to go to classes but could not afford it at the time.

I am also a shorty, so, jealous of your inches!

I have already cut down on stuff but gearing up towards going back to SW on MOnday.
