Hello, Newbie here saying hello....

Hello there,

I am new to this forum and I am a little lost at the moment, so I hope I am writing in the right place.

I am a 64 year old retired nurse, and due to health reasons over the last 10 years (I have MS & Rheumatoid Arthritis) my weight has crept up and got out of control.

I have never been a small 'girl' but never as big as I am now....

I started at 316lbs in January 2010, and after a set back in my health during last year, I re-started once again in January this year (2011) and my starting weight was 299lbs, and currently I am 287.5lbs, so a long, long way to go....

I am following the UK Slimming World diet, and am positive and in the 'zone' as the youngster's say today......

I live in a little seaside village in Norfolk.

I am hoping to meet ladies who are struggling with their weight too, and hopefully I can get some help and encouragement.
