Default Weight loss retreats

Hiya

Has anyone been to a weight loss retreat? I have been looking at a few around Devon and just wondered if anyone has any experience? - they are pretty pricey!

No, but I'd love to! The 3 things that hold me back are:

1. I think I'm too fat, a lot of these places certainly used to be for people losing the odd half stone or so....
2. The cost.
3. Fear that they wouldn't take a proper health history beforehand and just hit everyone with a low calorie high exercise regime, regardless.

If you get brave enough to go, let me know!

I have not done a weight loss retreat but ive heard one of the best is called hipocrates (check spelling) i nwest palm beach florida.
My suggestion is that wherever you go they should focus on a raw vegan or living foods diet.
