arghh ive signed up again this yr but my friend wants to join and i have to change the date to a sooner one (19th june because my event is full) and only have a little time left to train has anyone got any tips or advice to train for such lil time?... i wanna try and jog it as i did last yr with 5km but this yr is 10km ekkkkkk http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/thepinkwings (sorry if this is spamming please remove if so) here is my sponsor page if anyone would like to keep updated with our progress and sponsor... eeek 10km!

Blimey, not long to go! Have you been training at all? I jogged all through the 5k one last year with minimal prep, but to be honest, most people were walking faster than I was jogging! I don't know if you have an iPod, but you can download apps that can record your speed and distance - I've been running around the block (which is handily around 1k) and gradually building up. I've only been doing it a few days but am on 3k now, quite comfortably.

nope not long now i have been doing some training but stoped for a little while and had to start again urgh.. i have a park by me wich is 1k so i try and jog around it 3 times, only get round twice and have to power walk "ooops" but im just going to try my best start to jog and if i get tired then ill just walk.. i dont have an ipod but an app like that would be wicked, as im always walking every an would love to know how far i go in a day.. i wonder if they have any for my sony hmm (something to look into) fingers crossed ill make the finish line hehehe x
