Feeling happy with myself that i've been out for the last two days with my boys in the lovely weather, and taken a picnic both times. Haven't bought any junk food, only ice cream for them. Haven't even had any coke or pepsi just water.
Hoping it will all pay off at the end of the week

Sorry I haven't checked in sooner but LOADS has been going on for me! I found, applied for and had an interview for a job in Milan. I flew out to Italy on the 13th and have kinda of been neglecting WW ever since. I've indulged in beer, pizza, ice cream and laziness for the past week and a half, I haven't tracked a single point, but I've still been losing! Moderation eh?

I weighed in at 181.5 last week, which meant I'd lost a total of 2 stone, hit my mini goal of another 7lbs, owed myself a reward and got into the 12 stone bracket

I bought myself a bike as the reward, I've wanted one for ages, found the perfect bike here in Italy (in the town we're in and city nearby here everyone rides a bike ) and I've been enjoying it ever since!

I weighed in today at what I can only guess was 180lbs. I'm having trouble with my new scale as they are compact and mechanical and in Kg. I'm so used to using digi scales I'm having trouble discerning where the marker lies, but I read 81.5 kg and as usual I'm rounding up and so calling it 180

Sorry for the long post, I just don't want to you to think I've abandoned you all

Thanks guys....yep does feel pretty good (most of the time!)

Rainbow - my original goal was actually 154, and I decided a while back to go a bit easier on myself and change it up ( I was trying to be grown-up and realistic and not obsess about 4lbs, and what was a totally arbitrary goal in the first place) However it really has just niggled the whole time that it is still my real goal - so, I would like to get to it!!

I have been hovering between 162 and as low as 155 for the last several weeks.

Really now I see 158 as being my Max goal weight, giving me the wiggle room from 154 for bloating etc.
I wish i could just be happy here, but I suppose when you have a goal in mind for this long it seems silly not to just go for it now for those 3 extra lbs...

ps, too scared to change the ticker in case I just can't do it - will do it when I get there and stay there for a few days!

But, there I really will stop, as I have gotten a couple of 'you are too thin' comments now, and I am happy to have a little flesh and make sure I look healthy....

Well done Ellie, you're getting very close.

The scale has been surprising me this week, as I've lost another 3lb!

It gives me the few lbs under goal that I wanted and I can go onto maintenance in June feeling like I'm where I want to be.

Well done Lora, great news on getting to your goal!

Ellie - The reason I asked about your goal is because it's so hard without being there to know what your going to feel like when you get to goal weight.

I've put my goal as 12 stone which is the highest I can be at a normal BMI, I don't however know what i'll look like when I get there. I may want to go more or may be happy, that's why I wondered how you felt at goal.

Don't worry about the too skinny comments either, it's how you feel that's important. On my last weight loss journey I lost about 3 stone and everyone kept saying how great I looked and how if I carried on I would get too skinny, even though according to my BMI I still needed to lose around another 3 stone. It totally threw me and I ended up giving up and eventually putting it all back on, not this time though.

Just go by how you feel, you'll know when your there

Hi all chicks, well done with your losses on the scales.

My scales are seriously going in the wrong direction. I'm 150lbs now, so thats a total loss of zero & a gain of 2lbs over the month!!!!! EEeeek!!!

I have no excuses, I have been feeding my feelings & guess what???? Now I just feel worse than ever. Total short term gratification. I really ought to grow up (I'm 44 by the way) & face my feelings instead of damping them down with junk food.

Anyway I'm back in for June if theres a new thread going on.

Well done again to all the chicks who lost this month

Hey,
Well done to everyone this month. This morning I weighed in at 141lbs - just short of my 140lb target but i'm pretty happy with that.
Hope to see you all in the June thread, we're all one step closer to maintenance! x
