I stayed the same was to be expected with TOM and whoosh last week and hoping I will get a good loss next week Very pleased to of maintained at 14 and a half stones though Feels very strange to be so "light" - I haven't weighed this for about 11 years.

i'm down 4 pounds this week which is just great for me!

although i've been the same exact weight for 3 days, which is annoying. Serves me right for looking every morning dosn't it, if I hadn't looked I would be even more pleased.

I'll post everyones progress up a bit later when everyones had a chance to report in

I'm having a bit of a weird time at the moment. I've been eating really well and in the last week have noticed a massive difference in myself. I'm much more energetic (can run up the stairs to my flat without panting, can get up in the morning more easily), and have lost 3 inches from round my middle since I measured a fortnight ago. I still haven't lost any more weight though! It's very annoying! Is it because it's just after my first big whoosh?

I think I'm also going to have to buy more scales. Mine only have a little line for every two pounds, which is no good to me when every pound counts! Are digital scales the best way to go?

Well done you guys that have made it/are sooo close! I'm jealous!

I must try harder!!

That can happen where you stall a bit after the first loss, but you kinda should have lost a bit (though everyone is very different) - its the old thing, up the excercise a little, and cut the calories a bit more to try and get the scales moving.

I have had a few problems with scales, and had to return various ones that were completely wrong - most people say that the best scales are the heavy duty doctor type ones -but they can be difficult to read - I bought this one about 2 weeks ago, and am very happy with it

Good Luck!

Well done all those losing.

Starbuck 4lbs is great when you're well underway with your loss. I also wanted to say I love your little personal comments on the round-up!

Rainbow it's great to see someone who's lost so much weight. I can remember how good 14 1/2 stone felt - I was that in 2001 before I had my son. I'd just lost 4 stone on WW and thought I'd really changed my bad habits for good, but from the moment I was pregnant I couldn't stop eating. That carried on afterwards as he never stopped feeding & I was constantly starving. Before I knew it that 4 stone had piled back on, followed by more over the years. I could kick myself now for letting it slide. I'm looking forward to feeling that way again though, and I don't intend letting it slip back on this time. I definitely have no more children planned!

Felling a bit meh today, can't believe I've been 248.2 for the nearly last week!

Don't understand how I can stay at the exact same weight, even the .2 all week!!!

Anyway i'll keep plodding along, hopefully be a better readout on Sunday

Keep at it Starbuck - so many times that's happened to me & I've ended up thinking "Why am I bothering?" & going off the rails. You know if you're sticking to it the scales will catch up eventually so don't get too disheartened.

When that happens to me I drink a laod of water then tend to go down just before weigh in day - I don't really trust those loses when I suddenly lose 2lb before weighing in but do seem to be maintining them. I will be doing that teh next few days though I did finally go down 1lb today - first time the scales moved in 10 days or so.

Thanks Bakewell - I will fele happier at 14 stones though That's the weight I was when I got pregnant with my first - before that I yoyoed between 13 and 14 stones for a few years. I managed to lose weight between each pregnancy but could never stop eating once pregnant and after the girls were born also no more children planned so hopefully this weight loss will be perminant

I've lost 5 stones since March (so more slowly than Ellie) and I lost the rest last year when I had some teeth problems so couldn't eat and then was too scared to eat anything solid. I did plan on keeping up losing weight after that but badly broke my ankle and didn't want to lower calories while recovering. Really hoping to see 13 and a half stones this year but I was expecting to get to 16 stones by Christmas originally so any extra is good I woudl never of managed to lose so much or to be so determined without the support of this place
