what diet plan are you following?
My typical breakfasts are:

oatmeal

I mix up my breakfasts between the following:
eggs (2 hard boiled or scrambled)
whole wheat english muffin w/ peanut butter
low fat vanilla yogurt with berries
1% cottage cheese with berries
steel cut oats w/ a drizzle of honey and sliced bananas
1 egg on whole wheat toast w/ sliced tomato & onion
protein shake w/ berries and vanilla protein power OR chocolate protein powder & bananas
Hopefully those will give you some ideas that will fit into your diet.

My favourite is plain porridge with 1/2 a banana. It keeps me satisfied longer than anything else. But, if you're not doing dairy try it with soy, rice, or almond milk.

I usually have some kind of cereal (the less sweeet the better and pref fibre stuff) with soya milk (unsweetend), or something on toast like a poached egg or fried light one, or if I get up later a boiled one or tomatoes on toast or peanut butter on toast or marmite.
Occasionally go for porridge.
Off to grab some toast now.

chicken breakfast sausage with a piece of fruit... protein, fiber, and complex carbs. And chicken sausage only has like 80 calories per link, so I can have 3 sausages and an apple and stay within my calories.

Atkins Day Break Bar - Cappuccino Nut, I don't suppose that they are all that good for me but they are low cal, low carb and give me something to look forward to, I just couldn't eat branflakes first thing in the morning, I find it hard enough to get out of bed without having to do that to myself as well.
The last time I went shopping they were half price in Tesco so now I have a cupboard gowning with 'em.

Hello there Cat90!
I don't think I even noticed when I posted under you, that you were one of the old crew. I have only just been able to post again as now sitting on my @rse as redundant. Looking around for secretarial jobs but at the moment they can ask for the moon and the stars. They all want degrees, A levels and better IT skills than I have.
Wonder what qualifications I would need to flip a burger???!!

satisfying breakfast
Usually the things that make me the most full, and are actually apart of the 'good healthy' food groups are:
egg whites on wheat toast (really quick and easy with a microwave)
or
1/2 grilled chicken and some oatmeal which you can add splenda or trivia to sweeten it up.

my breakfast would be
either:
- 1 slide of bread, 1 egg, 1 milk bag (milk bag is 180ml - 165 calories)
or
- 1 apple, 1 yogurt (or any other fruits and yogurt)
pretty much that's that. I don't change my menu very often since they suit my taste and doesn't take much time to prepare as well. Sometimes in the weekend I have a big breakfast but then it's a different story ^^

I'm really bad at breakfast, if i have it at all, i might have piece of fruit or a toasted hot cross bun. Unless my dad is feeling generous and does me a lovely fry-up. Baked beans on toast is also a good one.

I'm hopeless at breakfast.
Don't know why as I love my porridge and all its variations!
It is my first NY target: eat breakfast every day!
Porridge with water or orange juice if you don't do milk, plus one or tow of these:
honey
cinnamon
half an apple, chopped
raisins
banana (not my favourite, tbh)
nuts/seeds
almost anything else I have to hand!
Add a yog/piece of fruit/round of toast and I'm done, hopefully!
