I have decided that the Great British Public are sometimes more than a bit strange.... I just auctioned a book on eBay - it was a paperback and I paid £6.99 new, I put a minimum price on it of £1.00 - and I just got notified that it sold for £7.50 plus the buyer knows he has to pay another £1.50 p&p - so he's paying £9.00 for a £6.99 book - and, of course, its second hand now!

Its not even out of print - I just checked on Amazon!

D'oh! (I checked the bid history and it showed a couple of men trying to outbid each other.... 'nuf said!)

Ok I have had a cr@p cr@p day. Boss really p!ssed me off. something he doesn't have to try very hard to do at the moment. Lots of little things built up over the day, like the fact the 'team' had a meeting without me - why was that - going to ask in my review in a fortnight and can bet he will have a quick answer but am going to get it off my chest to him anyway. Also the fact that we had visitors in the office this morning for a meeting and he didn't even bother to tell me they had arrived I had to guess when he wasn't at his desk. The man is soooooooo selfish and has seriously hacked me off. I usually manage to leave my problems in work, but today have been pushed just too far.

Eating has been ok, but my exercise has been non existant today. Am tired and TOM has arrived - honest to go that is probably why I let that man get to me today

I am going for a glass of wine and a packet of salt & vinegar lites - sorry to mention it too everyone but tonight I need to relax. have bulked ordered in the RR for next expected TOM date

Will speak to you all when I am less hassled and in a more genteel frame of mind

Smile ladies - it makes them wonder what you've been getting up to

I will NEVER understand why bosses feel this need to keep their staff feeling unsettled and unhappy. TOM or not, I think you have got a right to feel annoyed and upset - what he is doing is completely counterproductive, if he wants you to do your job efficiently then you need to be in on those meetings and kept advised of whats going on!! Poor you Carol {{{{{ hugs }}}}}

Like Chris says.... one more day to the weekend.

Yippee!!!! The postman just delivered me a leather jacket I bought on Yahoo! Auctions for £5 plus postage and it is absolutely gorgeous! (And he delivered a 3 ft high Barney mauve fluffy dinosaur).

I am completely addicted now.... and its all Tracy's fault!

I've just been bidding on some summer tops on eBay - I have been really splashing out - up to £1.50 each! AND I just won some shorts, I got some pretty peach/cream sort of Laura Ashley print mid thigh length ones for 50p and a cream strappy top for 50p as well! I also found some brand new M&S shorts over on Yahoo! which I got for £1 as well!!! At last I might have some clothes to wear that won't cost a fortune while I am still going down in size.

Here's the link for Yahoo Auctions CLICK HERE

but I think eBay is a bit better and maybe a bit cheaper.

I did well on the selling side today - I bought some Slendertone thingies on QXL a few weeks ago, found out that the sensation made me feel sick and sold them for a profit on eBay! I'm beginning to feel like Del Boy - well, why not - I've already got the accent!

I have got to put a limit on myself though - its easy to get carried away.
