Would you all like a UK forum here? Yes, I'm trying to encourage you all to hang out here instead of at Yahoo It would be easier to keep your posts centralized and easier to find, give you more room to branch out, too. Hey, I see possibilities here. Food issues are definitely different there, so the forum could have 'sub-forums' for recipes or shopping tips, etc.
Let me know what you think

I will always post on here as I have made good friends but I don't mind a new thread as well. Unfortunately I couldn't find this UK site from your link Topmonkey. Can you or Veggie who I have met before help.

Hi
I agree Mave none of us are thinking in the slightest of deserting 3fc! But if anyone also wants to join up at the UK yahoo group the homepage for it is at http://uk.geocities.com/ukweight_buddies/index.html When I saw Suzanne had posted I thought maybe she was about to tell me off for plugging yahoo groups but thankfully not!

I won't tell you off, but I might give you the evil eye
So what should we call the new forum?
UK Buddies?
UK Support Groups?
UK Fat Chicks?
Any suggestions are welcome. Once we have a name, I'll put it up. Also, we can try sub-forums for it to start, but can always move things around if it doesn't work out. Maybe one sub-forum for food/recipes then just general threads.

Hi
I quite like the name UK Fat Chicks - it says exactly what it is and it shows that it is part of 3FC! How about UKFC!!!!!!! Or could that be a bit.... misconstrued??? LOL
How about a sub-forum for finding buddies - and perhaps different sub-forums for people on different diets - WW / Slimming World / Low Carbs / Calorie Counting, etc, etc.
Another website I know does a 'thread of the day' which is very popular.

Careful veggie, the big guys might be surfing for copyright A spoof Nokia game site was set up about a month ago, and the site owner received a 2 page letter from Nokia's solicitors. Although it is the season of goodwill, some people just don't get it
I like UK Fat Chicks too or maybe Brit Chicks

Name UK fat chicks
Hi all,
Although I have been a member of 3FC for a long time now I have never posted in here before. What drew my attention was the new sub group for Brits. We really are very different from you US people in that we talk the same but it is a completely different language.
I really love the idea of Brit.Chicks because thats what we are and even our food is different and we do not know what you are talking about most of the time. It gets confusing sometimes not to say rowdy when our words mean something entirely different over here.
Hope you get it set up I shall be watching this space.
