What was the tastiest, most fantastic, most delish thing you ate yesterday?

So we can get some ideas

Yesterday, my favourite thing was a peanut butter and apple toastie - I did it on the George Foreman

A can of Sainsbury's sardines in chilli oil drained then mashed on wholemeal, multi seeded toast with a squeeze of fresh lime and some of Sainsbury's bistro salad (lambs lettuce, baby chard leaves and shredded raw beetroot). Not only very easy and tasty but very healthy.

Home-made muesli - organic oats and barley, whole hazelnuts and almonds, goji berries & cranberries, moistened with pomegranate juice, Greek 0% fat yogurt with eucalyptus honey mixed in, fresh grated cinammon. Sounds like one of those M & S food ads.

Free range roast chicken (free range tastes like chicken used to taste when I was a kid!), with 2 roast potatoes and loads of veg and gravy. All the better as it was a surprise because my hubby had cooked it for me for when I got in from work!

Tomato-and-basil marinaded salmon (on the George Foreman grill - my new bestest friend) and stir fried red onions, leek and orange pepper. It was heaven.

Good ol' cottage cheese, oat and eggwhite pancake with hot mixed berries on the top with a dollop of Onken blue container yoghurt. It was so yummy that you'd never guess it was healthy.

Yeah just whack your sandwich (2 slices of bread) on it and you get a panini-pressed sandwich

Yesterday my top 3 were:

1) Scrambled eggs with cheese, butter and milk on wholegrain toast
2) Madeira cake
3) Asparagus bread pudding with hummous

I love Sainsbury's bakery bagels - I have them with Philadelphia Lite and either chopped red onion, red grapes or - if I'm being totally extravagant, with some smoked salmon offcuts (Sainsburys do some in their basic range... enough for a couple of bagels for £1.18.)

Yesterday's yumminess was an open faced sandwich on wholemeal mixed grain bread with lambs lettuce salad, finely sliced red onion, avocado and chopped grilled bacon.

A friend cooked dinner - it was (I think) tinned mixed beans in a mild chilli sauce topped with a combination of mashed cauliflower and celeriac mixed with Philadelphia Lite with garlic and herbs then baked (before she dished it up it looked like a normal Shepherds Pie). Very, very nice.
