Default Easter Chicks Weigh In Thread - End of Week 1

End of week one (seems like its been a L-O-N-G week).

I got a nice suprise this morning, the scales showed that I've lost 6lbs this week! Only another 2lbs to go before I've lost the weight I gained over Christmas, so I'm hoping to do that by next week.

I've been struggling with the RC GI Jeans Kick Start (the introductory 2 week at 1200 cals before increasing to 1500) and I was thinking of not bothering with the second Kick Start week but that 6lbs has given me the incentive to carry on. I wouldn't want to do 1200 cals on a long term basis, though.

How's it going for everyone else?????

S/C/G: SW:226/16st - about 50lbs lost

Height: 5'8"

I've lost 2lbs - down to 12 stone 7lbs. Just 14lbs to go!

I'm a bit miffed that it wasn't lower this morning since I've been spot-on with everything, but I figured that I need some fibre so I've eaten a load of baby carrots, an apple and a satsuma and I've got my Ryvitas with cottage cheese - I'm halfway through it, but stopped.

Oh MAN! Sarah - you're already beating me

This speed of loss won't last - I'll soon be back to my 1lb a week.

Well done sarah and Jen I am showing a two pound gain this week...I don't know why? I've been on track and apart from not getting to curves I have been walking with dogs and on the I feel ucky. I'm tired, Dave has a cold and kept me awake half the night with his sniffles and groans with not feeling well...never mind, hopefully I'll show a loss next week... won't let this get me down.

for you CG... we're both in the same boat... don't exercise until your neck feels better though....

Well done to RSG

Big hug to Chris, CG and Lynne - those pounds will come off in their own time - its so depressing when you do all the right things and nothing happens.

I've lost 5 pounds according to the Boots scales.

I still have about 7 Xmas and pre Xmas pounds to lose.

Hi everyone - well done on your losses this week!
Sarah, I know what you mean about a long week - everything seems to go so much more slowly when I'm being healthy - thought dinner time was never going to come today!

I've lost 6lbs this week

I always love the start of a diet when the weight comes off really quickly (most of the time - I have had times when it's taken ages to get going) - it's a few weeks in when things really slow down that I really struggle.

Anyway, hope everyone has a good second week!

Mary

Well done everyone. I've had a surprisingly good week and am down 3lbs which sort of makes up for the weight I didn't lose last week on the first week of my diet.
