Unfortunately, things didn't go to well at TOPS on Thursday. I was up by two pounds..YIKES. I wasn't very happy, but it made me determined to do better this week. So I guess I'll have to wait until Thursday and see what happens. Hope everyone is doing well.
I've been a tops member since 1995. Last week I had to renew my membership. In 1995 i weighed 167. Over the last two weeks I've gained almost 5 lbs. It sparked something inside me. 6 years of my life i spent battling and what result?
NOTHING!
I left my meeting and tears and went home and reevaluated. I went the whole week on track and hope to lose that 5 to restart me at 167.
Oh my gosh!! I lost 6.75lbs this week! Could I be any happier! I do realize that it was my first week weigh in and is mostly water...If I can keep it off through my vacation I'll be beside myself.
I'm going to Maui from 5/8-5/16!! My sister is getting married there. I'm pumped but nervous! Will be missing two TOPS meetings and eating out for a week!
Hi Ladies! I don't mean to be pushy but I need some totals for this week and last week. Please post your results. It just makes it easier on me if I don't have to find out who has not given me totals.

This week I lost 2.25 pounds. Sorry it took me 2 days to get it posted. I enjoyed my day off yesterday with my horses. Looked at a trailer in the morning, rode all afternoon, and had the farrier out in the evening. And my hubby wasn't even too upset when he got a bag of popcorn for supper. It was my kind of day.
According to my TOPS weights I am up 4#.Not a very good way to start out.So I need to lose 9# by memorial day.Which is do-able.We have started a new contest so maybe i will do better
I am not happy either. I was up 1/2 lb tonight at my meeting.
I really did everything right this week. I used heavier weights for my weight training and drank a lot more water. I am thinking it might be muscle because of the weight. I went from using 3 lb weights to 5 lb weights. Also I started using ankle weights for my leg exercises. I could really feel the difference.
So this week I am going to continue the walking and cut way down on carbs starting on sat. tomorrow is my day off plan. I have worked so hard this week with no junk or anything and to come in with a gain is very depressing.
But hopefully eating next to no carbs all week will shock my system enough to give me a loss next week. I am trying this as it was advice from the kops in my group tonight. She said why not try something new. You don't have anything to lose. She is right. I am just gaining every week anyway. So why not try a different approach.

Not a very good week for me either. I was up 1.75. But this is a new week, time to start over. One thing I learned at TOPS is everyday is a new day. Don't beat yourself up over yesterday or last week, but make a difference TODAY!
I lost 1.5 pounds this week. I did not get my 6 days of walking in only got 4 days. But I will get all of them in this week.
I am excited as I am walking tomorrow night at a Relay for Life Cancer Awareness. I am going to try to walk for a hour and a half. We will see. Most of the people are walking all night long, but there is no way I can do that.
I'm sorry to report that I weighed in this morning with a half pound gain. Four days on program didn't undo the gain from last weekend. But, it's a new week and I will do better.
