I bought it a few years back (Michael Thurmond, right?). It's pretty restrictive food-wise, but if you like that kind of diet and can stick to it, you'll probably lose weight. I did, but when I quit, it came right back on. It is low carb, low cal, low sodium and it states to eat 6 times per day, but I got bored with the restrictions. I prefer calorie counting because I don't like people telling me what to eat.
