I went yesterday and bought a new exercise mat and some dumb bells. My goal for June to up my exercise, any movement at all! Did buy a pedometer last week, so I have the tools, now need the motivation to use them!
I did an exercise tape this morning, actually enjoyed it!! Luckily, I was home alone as I got laughing so hard at myself, I am not very coordinated! But I was moving! Have been wearing the pedometer every day, just seeing my average steps per day. I average about 8,000 so will try to up that to 10,000 by the end of June, that will be my goal. Along with doing exercise tapes every few days.
I just went on Collage Video's web site and ordered a couple new exercise videos. I love to dance, so I got a couple dance videos! I figured, I am doing these videos at home, alone, so no one sees how uncoordinated I am! Maybe I will gain some coordination and lose some weight, at least I will have some fun!
I went to the flea market near here today, and they had a Pilates video for $2so I picked it up. We will see how it is. I have never tried it, going in to watch it one time before I try it.
OMG My tummy knows I did something!! For such gentle moves.....WOW! I knew I was out of shape but pilates can really kick your butt (or should I say stomach??) But I did enjoy it and am looking forward to doing it again tomorrow!
I've been doing an exercise tape/DVD every day. Today I am taking the day off. I am priming and painting the new closet today. Hoping up and down the ladder all day will be exercise enough! Tomorrow I fill the closet, but will do a tape first thing in the AM. According to the website, I should get my new DVD's today!! I can't wait to check them out and try them! I am just really glad no one has a camera in here when I do some of them! I am really not coordinated!
